Deposit & payment
No. When the tenant validates, no amount is charged. The bank card is simply registered to secure the deposit (bank imprint, no immediate charge). A charge can only occur if a problem is identified after the stay, at the host's sole discretion.
The host sends a secure link to the tenant. The tenant registers their bank card through a secure interface. This secures the deposit without immediately blocking funds on the tenant's card, while giving the host the ability to charge if needed after the stay.
No. Collection depends on the tenant's banking conditions and may in some cases require additional validation. Verihost provides the tools to attempt collection but cannot guarantee its success in all cases.

Identity & security
Yes. Verihost applies high security standards to protect banking and personal information. Bank data is never stored by Verihost and personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR.
Disputes & how it works
The host is the sole decision-maker. They can request full or partial collection of the deposit from their dashboard. Verihost does not intervene in disputes between hosts and tenants.
In the vast majority of cases, full validation is completed in less than 5 minutes, directly from a smartphone.
